WHY THIS IMPORTANT DECISION?

All liturgical ministers play an essential role in the Church, with responsibilities extending beyond their specific duties.  Whether lector, E.M., cantor or serving in any other capacity, their involvement nurtures the spiritual life of our parishioners.  While many may not have regular, direct contact with  children youth or vulnerable individuals, it's important that all who serve in these roles be viewed a safe adults by everyone attending Mass, regardless of age.
